The Coast Project is running two wildflowers walks.
1st will be at Hendon Grasslands above the promenade on 24 June at 10.00am. We will be looking at the very diverse area of Hendon to record the many species that are known to be found there.
2nd we will be moving to the very northern area of our coastline and dipping into South Tyneside to see what plants are making this area so special. We will also be looking at the Sunderland sand dunes and the plants that make help create sand dunes. This event will be held on 8 July at 10.00am. Bookings are essential for both events.
